Video configuration and display¶
Add a camera: plug in and configure an additional camera and enable sharing.
Recorder: locally record (video + audio) a session held on la Vitre.
Configure Dynamic Display: display content (web page or video) when la Vitre is idle or in Confidential mode.
Adjust video display: crop, zoom, and re-center a video feed to restore the correct size.
Devices and accessories¶
Configure a second screen: connect and set up a second screen (HDMI, touch, Windows settings, and admin portal).
Connect a Bluetooth accessory: pair a Bluetooth headset or microphone and create an audio preset to switch easily.
HoloLens x la Vitre: understand HoloLens and share the headset view on la Vitre.
Install microphone drivers: install audio drivers to optimize microphone detection and quality.
Network and connectivity¶
Check and change network: access Windows from la Vitre and check or change Wi‑Fi/Ethernet.
The built-in connection test: run the built-in test and interpret speed, latency, and recommendations.
Advanced configurations¶
Primary and secondary mode: set up a “master” la Vitre and secondary la Vitres for a multi-site network.
Simplified kiosk mode: enable the kiosk option in advanced settings and understand its limitations.

Display language and Behavior: choose the interface language and define behavior (default, primary, secondary).
Monitors: manage the main screen and extended displays, their size, DPI, and usage.
Shared contents: define where and how shared content is displayed (screen, position, zones).
Audio: set la Vitre’s advanced audio settings.
Video: check which camera is used, orientation, exposure, and additional cameras.
Presence: adjust presence detection and the delays before switching to Quiet/Confidential modes.
Touch Settings: adjust finger/stylus recognition and auto erase.
WebRTC / ICE Servers configuration: understand WebRTC/ICE network settings and when to modify them with IT.
Auto update: manage automatic updates and options reserved for tightly controlled fleets.
Logs: understand technical logs and when to enable or export them.
Security parameters: define security, button visibility, and remote access rules.
Apps: enable and configure apps (Dynamic Display, Translate, integrations, etc.).
