FAQ Hardware and peripherals

Plug in, set up, and use your devices and accessories to enhance the experience with la Vitre.
Here you’ll find quick answers to the most frequently asked questions about hardware and peripherals.

Accessories

Plug an external microphone into la Vitre

Lavalier mics, USB microphones, and Bluetooth headsets work with la Vitre, with or without an audio interface to manage the microphone input and audio output. We can advise you on the right equipment or offer rentals for your events.

Connect a virtual or augmented reality headset

With Microsoft HoloLens, open the Companion to share your point of view live. Useful to guide a gesture, show an action in the field, or get immediate feedback.

To go further: HoloLens x la Vitre.

Use la Vitre with a projector

Display works in projection mode. Touch control is then done from the Companion to move or resize shared elements. A simple solution to quickly equip a large room.

Screens and display

Do I necessarily need a touch screen?

Your la Vitre remains fully usable without touch. You move, zoom, and resize from the Companion. Only a few functions, such as writing with the pen on the screen, are not available.

Use la Vitre on screens of different sizes

We recommend 86” for life-size presence and a natural exchange. la Vitre also adapts from 65” up to an LED wall, depending on your use cases and spaces.

Connect your la Vitre to a secondary screen

Adding a secondary screen makes it possible to move shared elements with a single gesture and improves reading comfort. You keep eye contact and presence while handling your documents on the second screen.

To go further: Configure a second screen.

Hardware

Which product should I use to clean la Vitre?

Clean the screen like a TV or a computer monitor. Use a special screen wipe or a soft, dry microfiber cloth. If needed, a standard screen cleaner works. Avoid aggressive products or alcohol-based products. Wipe gently to preserve touch sensitivity.
