Check and change network

✨ Wifi, galet 5G, Ethernet : choisir le réseau le plus stable sera primordial pour une expérience optimale lors de vos échanges sur la Vitre.


By default, la Vitre's application opens in full screen when the PC starts up.

To access Windows and network settings, it's simple.

  • Touch the logo twice in the top left corner of the screen.
  • The application minimizes. You see the Windows desktop.

Check the current network

Click on the Wi-Fi or Network icon at the bottom right of the taskbar, near the clock.

A window opens. It displays the current network, Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

Change Wi-Fi network

In the network list, select the one you want to join.

Enter the password if necessary.

Wait a few seconds. The connection updates automatically.

Switch to a wired network (Ethernet)

Plug the Ethernet cable into the back of la Vitre's PC.

Windows automatically switches to the wired connection.

The network icon becomes a cable symbol, instead of the Wi-Fi bars.

Recommendation

Prefer the wired connection when possible. It's more stable and guarantees a better experience on la Vitre. You see better, you hear each other better, presence is smoother.
