Yes. Internet connects la Vitres to each other and enables remote assistance.
What connection types are possible?
la Vitre works on a wired or wireless network. For a stable experience, prefer Ethernet or a reliable Wi‑Fi.
Recommended bandwidth
For a Full HD 1080p exchange between two la Vitres:
- 5 to 10 Mbit/s upload and download
- Stable latency below 50 ms
- Video sending around 1881 kbps per stream in 1080p, minimum 1000 kbps for device sharing
- An ADSL line with around 1 Mbit/s upload is not enough for 1080p. Requirements increase with the number of la Vitres used at the same time.
Are your exchanges secure?
Yes. End-to-end encryption, protected signaling (HTTPS), WebRTC integrity control, no server-side storage of content.
