Daily best practices

A few simple tips for more natural conversations.
This page summarizes the best practices to apply every day: prepare the environment, adopt the right posture, and let la Vitre fade into the background.

Prepare the environment for an optimal experience:

  • Lighting: favor natural light facing you; avoid backlighting.
  • Background: a neutral wall helps highlight the other person.
  • Space: keep 2 to 3 meters in front of the screen so you can move freely.

The goal: forget la Vitre, and stay natural.

la Vitre is designed so you can interact as easily as if you were in the same room. The idea is to stay natural:

  • Your voice stays natural, as if the other person were right in front of you.
  • Movements stay free: you can gesture and move around.
  • Your gaze can go wherever you want; what matters most is the exchange.
  • You stay yourself: the technology fades away.

After use: cleaning and preparation.

  • Notes, drawings, and on-screen shares can be cleared.
  • A press on the Moon lets you switch to Quiet mode.
  • la Vitre is ready for the next person.
