Troubleshooting
✨ Check the key points and resolve the most common issues in just a few steps. Stay calm. Get closer to what matters.
Quick diagnosis in 3 steps¶
- Check the power supply and the visible connections.
- Restart the la Vitre app or the la Vitre mini‑PC.
- Test the connection from the la Vitre and compare it to the recommendations below.
If the problem persists, browse the other explanations on this page or Contact support.
Restart the la Vitre application¶
In the “three dots” menu, tap the version number at the bottom of the screen three times, then press “Restart” to restart the application locally.
- From this menu, “Monitoring” lets you restart all the la Vitres in the space.
- An administrator can also restart one or more la Vitres remotely via the administration portal.
Diagnose your connection¶
A stable connection means clear presence. The simplest thing is to see each other.
- For a smooth Full HD exchange between two la Vitres, aim for 5 to 10 Mbit/s upload and download, with a maximum latency of 50 ms.
- Avoid ADSL with 1 Mbit/s upload, which is not enough for 1080p.
- Prefer an Ethernet cable for more stability.
To measure from the la Vitre, open the “three dots” menu, then run the connection test. Compare your results with the reference values indicated on this page: The built-in connection test.
To go further, see: Check and change network.
"No signal" message¶
“No signal” means the screen is not receiving a signal from the mini‑PC.
- Firmly plug the HDMI cable back in on both ends.
- Restart the PC if needed.
- Check the HDMI source in the screen settings.
If the message persists, contact an administrator or support.
You don't see anyone on the la Vitre¶
- Make sure the screen is on.
- Check that the other participants are connected and visible. Their la Vitre dot appears at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm the selected space.
- Run the built-in connection test.
- Restart the PC or restart the application if needed.
Low or no sound (or mic icon on the screen)¶
- Adjust the volume via the “three dots” menu (a “ding” confirms each step).
- In administration, check the audio inputs and outputs in Advanced settings.
- The screen remote control does not affect the la Vitre volume.
- Make sure the speaker is on.
- If using external devices, check the source and levels.
Camera not detected (or camera icon on the screen)¶
- Try another USB port on the mini‑PC.
- Test another USB cable if possible.
- Restart the la Vitre application.
- If the image is overexposed or saturated, adjust the lighting and check the advanced settings with an administrator.
